So, yesterday was my final full time planning and design wedding and my bride and groom wanted one of my well known themed fetes. For Bear and Tana, that meant a red, black, and silver Pirate themed wedding that still maintained a classic look with a twist. I have to say that the sweetheart table I designed was gorgeous and one of my personal faves…ever. With black cherry crush linen (the only red table), red and gold glass, gorgeous trunks, and lots of gems and flickering candles.
I love the idea of a sweetheart table. Too often with head tables, the couple are in the midst of multiple conversations, etc. to the point where they often don’t get to spend a good deal of time with one another and or don’t get to eat and enjoy their first meal as a married couple. A sweetheart table allows the couple to enjoy one another and gives them a chance to speak to their guests one on one instead of competing with other conversations at the same table.
Today’s Monday’s Finding are my favorite sweetheart tables found via Pinterest:
Unique and Alternative
This one of Bear and Tana was just posted by a relative of the bride and I just had to add it to this post. These are two of my favorite people in the whole world and I couldn’t ask for a better friend and ex-husband or stepmom for my son and sister from another mister. They are so in love that it’s just contagious.
